Hope everyone is safe and well. Just to update you that P5 Google classroom is now live and work is available for those that wish to take part.
Please login to Google Classroom on or before Monday to enable me to see how many can access the classroom. If you just post a ‘hello’ below mine that would be great.
As these are the Easter weeks I will phase in a reduced amount of work over the next two weeks because I’m sure you’ve all been working hard with your packs.
If anyone is not on, and you are in contact with them, can you explain how to get on if they’re not sure and they want to join. Thanks!
01.04.20 - Update
Please access GOOGLE CLASSROOMS via the instructions at the bottom of the remote learning folder labelled below. Updates will occur on a weekly basis, posted around Monday lunch time each week.
Today I posted some resources to introduce our new topic for the next few weeks. It’s difficult to find exactly what I’m looking for as I would normally introduce it myself in class, but I uploaded several reasonable videos to provide some clarity on our topic.
Maths, English and Mental Maths will follow on Monday 6th April as the packs should have enough til then. Thanks.
Primary 5 have had a great start to the new school year and it's nice to see pupils making a great effort to impress in class. It is always difficult to begin a new year with even more demands and difficulties to overcome. P5 are trying hard to become more independent with organising themselves and completing their work to an impressive standard and everyone is on this journey together.
Our World Around Us topic this term is based on 'Energy', which covers two main areas, food and electricity. The class are currently learning about where their food comes from, who produces it, how it can be cooked, and are completing a variety of art lessons and creative writing on this area. We have already had some superb pieces of work to show in class.
We look forward to a great year!!!!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
