Welcome to P3!
Please visit our class page on the website on a regular basis as I will update what the P3s are learning in class. It would be great if you could talk to your child about the areas and let them tell you about the exciting things they have learnt in school!
This Term in P3 we will be covering the following areas:
CCVC words with all mid vowels.
CVCC words with all mid vowels
Numbers to 100
Addition & subtraction, missing number sums
Number bonds for 16,17,18,19 & 20
Number doubles & halves
3D shapes and their properties.
Measuring using centimetres, metres, millilitres, grams etc.
Recording and interpreting data.
Animals around the world
We will be looking at animals from different continents in the world.
We will look at land, sea and air animals.
We will also be exploring life cycles of animals.
Please send in any books, pictures or materials which would be of interest to the P3s relating to this topic.
