Each student has a unique Home Learning Code to access Seesaw. When signing in with their Home Learning Code, students can post to their journal, respond to activities, and view class announcements. Students do not see the work of any other student in the class.
How Do Students Use Their Home Learning Code?
We will be using Seesaw for some home learning after the Easter break commencing on 20th April. Please sign in with your Home Learning code following the steps below:
1. Go to https://web.seesaw.me on a computer. Or install the Seesaw Class iOS or Android app.
2. Tap “I’m a Student”.
3. Scan or type in your Home Learning code. Each child's individual code is in their class home learning packs. If you have misplaced the code, please contact Miss Gault at hgault730@c2ken.net for a replacement code.
4. Post to your journal, respond to activities, and view class announcements.
5. Remember, this code is like a password. Keep it safe!
My School is the interface that all children use in Northern Ireland to access online tools and applications. Each P1 pupil will have their username and password attached to their home learning worksheet pack. This should be used to access this website. The children may use literacy or numeracy apps to assist their learning.
Espresso Education is an excellent online learning tool which covers all areas of the curriculum. P1 have watched videos from this site to reinforce learning in areas of phonics and numeracy. Children's username and password for this website is attached to their home learning worksheet pack.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
